The Young Professionals Committee of Marshall, MI invites “Youngish Professionals” in the area to submit art for their one-night event, to take place on the second floor gallery at Eastend Studio & Gallery on Saturday, March 24th.
A “youngish professional” as defined by the organization itself is as follows:
An individual that feels fourteen to forty-five years of age and is looking to develop, enhance, and/or contribute their professional skills
An individual looking to participate in and foster the development of a fun, progressive, economically strong and diversified community
An individual that values diverse thought, historic and ecologic preservation, artistic solutions, and community advancement
If these criteria describe you, even loosely, you are a youngish professional. This call for art is for you!
The March 24th event is a social for the organization. It will take place at Eastend Studio & Gallery as an exhibition opening. Art will be on display for that night only. Attendees will vote on their favorite works of art. The top two pieces will be displayed in the window at Eastend for a month. All works of art will be considered (painting, sculpture, photography, etc.). All pieces should be matted, framed, and wired as appropriate, unless the nature of the work itself requires a different method of display. To submit work, please send up to 5 images of work to warner@eastendstudioandgallery.com, along with any relevant info about you or your art we may find helpful.
