This exhibition, curated by Ashley Feagin, Professor of Art at Albion College, is a collection of work that is deeply personal to the artist who produced it. Some artists choose to create work that is aesthetically pleasing, but contains a deeper message for those who care to pry. Others create work that fully displays their past trauma or heartbreak. This group show is the first at Eastend to be comprised solely of artists from the LGBTQ community. Artists from Michigan, New York, California, and Pennsylvania are represented in the Larson Exhibition Space for the duration of this show.
