Homage to Tradition
A show meant to honor the styles of impressionists, and especially post impressionists, will be opening on January 25th. This show will include not just the traditional medium of oil on canvas, but other mediums that incorporate the palettes, styles, or techniques of past movements. Works that are inspired by antiquity are materialized with a modern twist. Still lifes from multiple artists will be included and will demonstrate a wide range of experience and taste.
Homage to Tradition will be on display January 25 - March 8.
Reception: January 25 from 5-7:30.

CALL FOR ART: 4 Squared
EastEnd Studio & Gallery is issuing a call for art. The upcoming exhibit is titled 4 Squared. This show incorporates a set of four 12x12 canvases per each artist. Artists are to submit concepts and ideas (sketches, notes, etc.) referencing how they plan to use the four canvases. Artists are only submitting concepts, not completed works. Artwork is to be completed AFTER acceptance to the show. Art can be a single image divided up into 4 pieces, or 4 images related to a cohesive theme. Canvases may be used as a base for a bas relief or sculpture. Canvas can be transformed to an extent, including painting, ripping, puncturing, etc... There are parameters for the show but no concept is too wild. Artists’ concepts that have been accepted will be notified and their finished 4 Square concept will be expected to be finished before the opening.
If you aren’t sure that your concept works, please contact the gallery and we are happy to answer questions regarding specific requirements and how your concepts fits within the parameters. Please view the full call for art before submitting work, in order to learn the full details.
- NEW HOURS: The gallery will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-5:30pm, during the Winter.
